An important decision has been taken by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani in the Gujarat government in which it has been said that state government employees and panchayat employees will not get 1 year allowance. It has been said that due to the ongoing Koro epidemic, the country has suffered a huge economic loss and due to this the income of the country has been declining. .
Currently, the epidemic of corona is increasing day by day and this is causing financial loss to the government. The Corona epidemic has reduced exports of large industries and equipment, aircraft, tourists from other countries and goods exported from India, and has also reduced the government’s source of revenue. All the patients in Corona are treated free of cost and the equipment and medicines used in this treatment are overused and the same government has to be procured from outside and this is causing more financial loss.
Due to the Corona epidemic, free foodgrains are distributed by the government to the people belonging to poor families and these foodgrains are distributed free of cost so the cost of this is also increasing day by day. Therefore, this decision has been taken to benefit this poor family.
According to the current season, heavy rains have fallen in some places during the monsoon season, which has caused a lot of crop losses to the farmers. Efforts are being made to benefit the farmers inside. Therefore, the importance of this decision by the Government seems to be complete. Therefore, it has been decided not to pay dearness allowance to the state government employees and panchayat employees from 1 January 2020 to 31 March 2021.
