Navoday Exam
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has been started by the Government of India to make the decision a success to build national unity across the country. In this scheme, when a student is studying in standard 5, the entrance examination of that standard i.e. at the end of the year is taken and if he passes the entrance examination, he is given admission in standard 6 in Navodaya Vidyalaya.
All subjects, meals, books, education, teaching literature and uniforms are provided free of cost in this Navodaya Vidyalaya.
The main objective of Navodaya Vidyalaya is to find the bright children of the village and give them proper education and encourage them. For this, Navodaya Vidyalaya has been established in every district for the benefit of the children of all the districts.
The entrance examination of Navodaya Vidyalaya is competitive so it is not necessary to pass the examination but it is necessary to get good marks in the 80% of the students who have to be selected and get a rank from 1 to 80.
According to the rules of Navodaya Vidyalaya, in order to cultivate unity in the whole country, a student of Navodaya Vidyalaya has to go to another state to study in Std.
In Navodaya Vidyalaya, 75% seats are allotted to rural candidates and 25% seats are reserved for urban candidates, with reservations for all Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
Navodaya Entrance Examination is conducted in three sections.
(1) Mental aptitude (50 marks)
(2) Mathematics (25 marks)
(3) Language Gujarati (25 marks)
The total number of questions is 80 and the total marks are 100 in which one question has 1.25 marks.
The duration of the above complete examination is a total of 2 hours.
Thus, after getting good marks for the above competitive examination and passing the examination and coming in merit order, i.e. for being selected, we will put an educational video so that the children can get adequate educational guidance and can prepare properly for all the subjects of the entrance examination.
